Shawdesh Desk: The son of missing IT professional Ataur Rahman Shahin today pleaded to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for her direction on the authorities concerned to take necessary steps for returning his father.

“Please bring back my father to me. He has been missing for two months,” said nine-year-old Tashdeed Aan Nafee, a student of class-four at European Standard School in Dhaka’s Mirpur.

The family members of Shahin talked to journalists at a press briefing held at Sagar-Runi Auditorium of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity in the capital this morning.

Addressing the briefing, Shahin’s pregnant wife Tania Akhtar said her husband was abducted by unidentified people from near his office in Tejgaon Industrial Area on May 2 evening.
